Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from overwhelming experiences, trauma, and emotional distress. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation — often through guided eye movements — to help the brain process and release stuck or unprocessed memories.

Many of the women I work with are carrying the weight of difficult experiences: birth trauma, fertility challenges, postpartum anxiety or depression, complicated medical journeys, or the accumulated stress that can build throughout the many transitions of womanhood. EMDR offers a way to gently work through these experiences without needing to revisit every detail.

By helping the brain reprocess these memories, EMDR reduces the emotional intensity and allows space for greater clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom. My clients often describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded after EMDR — better able to respond to life's challenges without being held back by old wounds.
